PRIVACY POLICY

1. Zero Cloud Storage & Local Data Only

RemindRN places the highest priority on user privacy and data security. The Medical Shift Tracker application is designed to function entirely offline.

No Cloud Storage: We do not collect, transmit, upload, or store any of your app data on our servers.

100% Local Processing: Every piece of information entered into the app (timers, room numbers, task completions, settings) lives securely and exclusively on your physical iOS device via local storage.

Data Deletion Instructions: Because RemindRN does not use cloud storage, you can permanently delete all of your data at any time simply by deleting the application from your device.

2. Protected Health Information (PHI) & HIPAA Compliance

This application is NOT designed, intended, or certified to store Protected Health Information (PHI).

Users are strictly prohibited from entering patient-identifying data (names, birth dates, social security numbers, medical record numbers, etc.) into any free-text fields.

The app is meant solely as a time-management and task-tracking utility (e.g., “Room 101 - Draw Blood in 30 mins”), not as an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

3. App Analytics & Crash Reports

We do not use embedded third-party analytics trackers. If the app crashes, Apple may provide us with anonymized crash logs exclusively if you have opted-in to share analytics with developers through your iOS Settings.

TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading and using the Medical Shift Tracker, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.

2. Appropriate Use & Medical Disclaimer

Not a Medical Device: The Medical Shift Tracker is a convenience utility. It is not licensed medical software, nor is it intended to monitor, diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease or patient outcome.

Fail-Safes Required: You must not rely solely on this app for critical patient care or life-saving interventions. Notifications and alarms may fail due to iOS volume settings, battery, Do Not Disturb modes, or OS limits. You must maintain standard clinical vigilance and redundant tracking systems per your facility’s protocols.

3. User Responsibilities (HIPAA)

You agree to assume full responsibility for complying with your employer’s policies and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) or equivalent regional healthcare privacy laws. RemindRN.com and Breakneck Brands assume zero liability for user-entered data that violates patient privacy laws.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RemindRN.com, Breakneck Brands, and their developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of employment, or clinical adverse events resulting from a failure of the application’s timers or notifications.

5. Intellectual Property

All design, source code, logos, and UI patterns are the intellectual property of RemindRN.com and Breakneck Brands. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute the app’s components without express written permission.
